Stove God Cooks – “Stovie’s Home (Down Down)” (Prod. Swizz Beatz)
Stove God Cooks has announced a new album, All This For Me?, after resolving a long-running dispute with indie label Babygrande. The announcement marks a new phase for the Syracuse rapper, whose career momentum slowed after the disagreement and who has not released an album since his 2020 debut.
His new single, “Stovie’s Home (Down Down)”, is produced by Swizz Beatz, who is also executive producing the forthcoming album. Cooks has formed a “strategic partnership” with Babygrande and Warner Records. The track gives his previously hard, chaotic sound a glossier feel, while retaining his precision and charisma.
