Stray Kids, Karol G, Taylor Swift & More: Highlights of This Week’s Billboard Charts

Billboard · 3 hours ago

Billboard's latest weekly charts, dated 22 August and reflecting the 7-13 August tracking week, saw Stray Kids claim their ninth Billboard 200 number one with the album THIS & THAT, which earned 369,000 equivalent album units, the group's best-ever week. The milestone puts the K-pop act level with The Rolling Stones for second-most Billboard 200 chart-toppers among groups, behind only The Beatles, and the title track also gave the band their first Hot 100 top 40 entry.

Elsewhere, Karol G notched her fifth number one on Top Latin Albums, ending Bad Bunny's record 77-week nonconsecutive run atop that chart, while Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" held the Hot 100 summit for an 18th week, nearing the record for longest non-holiday reign. Shakira and Burna Boy's World Cup anthem "Dai Dai" continued to top the Global 200, Taylor Swift scored a record-extending 16th Adult Pop Airplay number one, Drake set a new Rhythmic Airplay record with his 46th chart-topper, and Madonna and Kylie Minogue's "Love Sensation" duet entered the Hot Dance/Pop Songs top 10.
