Composers Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson have unveiled a new cinematic version of "Guile's Theme," the iconic video game melody from Street Fighter, released ahead of the film's theatrical debut on 16 October. The reimagined track features orchestral arrangements, electric guitar and a heroic sound that gives the classic tune a contemporary cinematic upgrade. For Birenberg and Robinson, this represents a deeply personal opportunity, as Yoko Shimomura's original composition was a foundational influence on their musical identities since childhood, making their interpretation a meaningful tribute to their musical roots.

The Street Fighter original motion picture soundtrack, also releasing 16 October via Milan Records, combines Birenberg and Robinson's film score with two original songs from industrial metal band HEALTH written specifically for the movie. Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the film features Andrew Koji as Ryu, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters and Callina Liang as Chun-Li, alongside Jason Mamoa, David Dastmalchian and Curtis Jackson in other key roles. The story, set in 1993, follows Ryu and Ken as they reunite after being recruited by Chun-Li to compete in the World Warrior Tournament.
