Strikers finding form as Rangers bounce back
Rangers responded to dropping points against Dundee with a commanding 4-0 win over St Johnstone. The result showcased improved form from Kevin Kelsy and Ryan Naderi, whose goals and link-up play give manager Derek McInnes more attacking options while Lawrence Shankland and Youssef Chermiti remain absent.
Kelsy scored twice, including Rangers’ first goal from a corner this season, while Naderi added a goal and an assist. Rangers had 21 shots, nine on target and eight big chances, with expected goals of 4.57 to St Johnstone’s 0.58. McInnes said his side must produce another strong performance when they visit Hearts on Wednesday.
