Sue Perkins Exploring ADHD Diagnosis For First Time In Audible Podcast ‘Tales From A Distracted Mind’
Sue Perkins is examining her ADHD diagnosis, received in her 50s, in a new Audible audio memoir, *Attention, Please! Tales From a Distracted Mind*. She says the diagnosis brought both relief and uncertainty, and the series traces her effort to understand and live with her “chaotic” brain.
The programme uses dramatic recreations, live conversations and music composed by Joe Zeitlin. Perkins discusses her questions with psychologist Dr Tara Quinn-Cirillo, neuroscience expert Professor Ellie Dommett and endocrinologist Professor Niamh Martin, who draw on current research and understanding.
