Sheffield United midfielder Sydie Peck featured for England Under-21s in their 4-2 win over Kazakhstan at Molineux, earning another international cap in an entertaining qualifier. The victory strengthened England’s position at the top of their group and moved them closer to qualifying for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship.

Kazakhstan took an early lead, but England recovered through an own goal, Josh Acheampong, Max Alleyne and Will Lankshear, while Saif Popov also scored for the visitors. Peck came on in the 69th minute for Archie Gray, as England opened up a six-point lead with two qualifying matches remaining and a significantly better goal difference.
