Ndiaye left Sheffield United after helping them win promotion from the Championship and joined Marseille, before moving to Everton a year later. Marseille are reportedly entitled to a share of Everton’s profit on the sale to City, while United retain a percentage of Marseille’s entitlement; this could be worth around £1 million to the Blades.
