Sunday date for Old Firm in League Cup quarter-finals
Rangers will host Celtic at noon on Sunday 13 September in the Premier Sports Cup quarter-finals, setting up another Old Firm clash after the sides met twice in cup competitions last season. The fixture is the last of four last-eight ties to be scheduled, giving both Glasgow clubs a chance to avenge previous defeats in this season's League Cup.
The other quarter-finals see Hearts travel to Stenhousemuir on Friday evening, Ross County host Hibernian in Dingwall and Kilmarnock face Aberdeen at Rugby Park, both on Saturday. Celtic won last season's semi-final meeting with Rangers on penalties before losing the final to St Mirren, and also beat their rivals on penalties in the Scottish Cup after a 0-0 draw at Ibrox.
