Clash Magazine has reviewed SUNDAYCLUB, the self-titled debut album from dream pop duo sundayclub, made up of Courtney Carmichael and Nikki St. Pierre. Hailing from rural Manitoba, the pair use unfiltered storytelling to explore themes of growing up, growing apart and self-discovery, positioning themselves as fresh voices in the hazy dream pop genre.

The record features tracks such as "Blue Wave", "Camera Shy", "Lombard", "Corydon Ave (To Meet You)", "Sober" and closer "woym?", blending dreamy vocals, glowing synth guitars and shifting sonic textures to evoke memory and nostalgia. The duo describe the album as a re-examination of their hometown, Winnipeg, softened and romanticised by hindsight, with the album process helping them navigate the "limbo of early adulthood". Clash's Rachel Leong rated the album 7 out of 10, praising sundayclub's specificity and commitment to self-reflection.
