Filipino filmmaker and producer Antoinette Jadaone has launched Ilaya Ilaya with longtime collaborator Reign Anne De Guzman. The production company aims to support Filipino cinema, women-led stories, underrepresented genres and filmmakers working outside traditional studio and festival funding systems.

Its initial slate includes the found-footage horror film Birdsong, supernatural comedy Chandra Catacutan And The Curse Of The Fuchsia Moon, coming-of-age mystery Crème de la Crème and Jadaone’s dark comedy Boldstar, starring Angelica Panganiban. Ilaya Ilaya is also developing an untitled Netflix Philippines romantic comedy series, while projects involve performers including Eugene Domingo and writers and directors recognised at international markets and festivals.
