Super Mario Party Jamboree TV Is The Second ‘Switch 2 Edition’ To Break One Million Physical Sales

Nintendo Life · 3 hours ago

Nintendo's latest financial data, covering sales up to June 2026, shows that Super Mario Party Jamboree – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Jamboree TV has become only the second "Switch 2 Edition" title to sell more than one million physical copies. The milestone is notable because it counts physical sales alone, excluding digital downloads, and comes despite the release carrying a steep price tag of $79.99/£66.99. It reinforces the idea that physical media remains commercially strong on Nintendo systems, in contrast to rivals such as Sony moving away from discs.

The game has sold 1.15 million physical copies, joining Pokémon Legends Z-A (3.99 million) as the only other Switch 2 Edition to break the million mark, while Mario Kart World leads the wider six-game Switch 2 best-seller list with 15.38 million sales, a figure that includes digital purchases and hardware bundle codes. The original Switch version of Super Mario Party Jamboree, launched in October 2024, has separately sold an estimated 9.96 million copies as of March 2026. As the third Mario Party entry for Switch following titles in 2018 and 2021, the franchise's continued strong performance suggests a new instalment is likely within the next few years.

  • Second Switch 2 Edition title to reach that milestone, after Pokémon Legends Z-A
