‘Super Troopers 3’ Is the R-Rated Release Fans Have Been Waiting For [Exclusive]
Collider has shared an exclusive sneak peek of "Super Troopers 3", the R-rated comedy sequel bringing back the hapless Vermont state troopers ahead of its cinema release on 3 August. The clip continues the franchise's tradition of absurdist police antics, giving fans a first proper taste of the humour before the film's wider debut.
In the scene, the troopers investigate a suspicious package reported by a trucker at a truck stop, only to find no witnesses available because the trucker had been arranging illicit services nearby. A bomb-disposal robot is brought in, operated by Carl Foster (Paul Soter), whose on-screen relationship troubles with colleague Ursula Hansen (Marisa Coughlan) derail the operation, leading to chaos even after the box turns out to be harmless.
