Super Troopers Raid Limp Bizkit Set to Issue a Noise Complaint
Comedy troupe Broken Lizard interrupted Limp Bizkit's set to deliver a mock "noise complaint," dressed as their Super Troopers characters, during a performance at Creed's "Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival" in Tinley Park, Illinois. The stunt, which occurred as the nu-metal band closed with "Break Stuff," is part of a promotional push for Super Troopers 3, the third instalment in the long-running film franchise.
The bit began with the crowd unaware anything unusual was happening, before a Broken Lizard member launched into the group's signature "chicken-fuckers" routine, at which point fans realised the gag and the comedians joined the band on stage to celebrate. The appearance echoes a similar guest spot earlier this month, when comedian Tom Green joined Limp Bizkit on stage in Ottawa for "Rollin' (Air Raid Vehicle)." Super Troopers 3 is due for release on 7th August.
