Warner Bros.' new DC film "Supergirl" is set to arrive on digital platforms on 28 July, following its cinema release this summer, with physical 4K, Blu-ray and DVD editions to follow on 8 September. The release marks the second theatrical instalment in James Gunn's rebooted DC Universe, and Collider has shared an exclusive clip from the extensive behind-the-scenes bonus content accompanying the home release.

The digital and physical editions will include more than 90 minutes of bonus features, among them featurettes covering star Milly Alcock's experience making the film, the adaptation of Tom King and Bilquis Evely's source graphic novel, practical creature effects, a major action sequence, Jason Momoa's portrayal of Lobo, the film's score, its alien worlds, and the dog Krypto, alongside an animated Krypto short and deleted scenes. The exclusive clip focuses on production designer Neil Lamont's work creating the alien planet Holzherr, filmed in Scotland, home to settlers styled after Western ranches and Australian outback roadhouses.
