SWFC News: Owls reveal latest matchday offering with North West Corner announcement – thestar.co.uk

🔎 Sheffield ·

Sheffield Wednesday have launched a new matchday initiative, the MrQ Dugout Club, giving supporters the chance to watch games from the North West Corner at Hillsborough during the 2026/27 season. Run in partnership with MrQ, the club's back-of-shirt sponsor, the scheme forms part of a wider push to enhance the fan experience beyond the 90 minutes of play, reflecting a growing trend of clubs teaming up with sponsors to offer supporters more exclusive matchday access.

Eight season-ticket holders benefit at each match, split into four pairs, with successful applicants also receiving a place for a guest. The package includes a pregame tunnel walk with views of pitchside warm-ups, a reserved viewing area, pre-match food and access to "Hirsty's Social". Wednesday chief executive David Bruce said the aim was to deliver a "genuine" experience that puts fans "at the heart of matchday", while MrQ's chief commercial officer Adam Ryan described it as a "first-of-its-kind" scheme to boost entertainment for supporters throughout the season. It was launched during the Owls' Yorkshire derby against Bradford City on 20 August 2026.
