Sheffield Wednesday have confirmed the signing of former Everton midfielder Tyler Onyango, adding a versatile young player to their squad. The move matters because Onyango has experience across the EFL and can operate in midfield, defence or at wing-back, offering the club additional tactical options.

The 23-year-old joins after leaving Everton, where he made five senior appearances, and has previously had loan spells with Burton Albion, Forest Green Rovers and Stockport County. He has agreed a two-year contract with Wednesday, securing his future at Hillsborough until summer 2028.
