Syrian man denies raping girl, 15, and sexually assaulting another teenager
A 27-year-old Syrian man has appeared at Warwick Crown Court accused of raping a 15-year-old girl and sexually assaulting another teenager at a hotel in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Ahmad Hania denied the allegations, which concern claims that he kissed and touched both girls without their consent and raped one of them.
The charges relate to an incident in August, after police were called to the hotel following reports of sexual assaults. Hania, who used an Arabic interpreter, was granted continued bail and is due to stand trial for five days from 1 August 2028; the alleged victims cannot be identified for legal reasons.
