Talent Agent Matt Shaffer Exits Innovative After Nearly Two Decades

Talent agent Matt Shaffer has left Innovative Artists Entertainment after nearly 20 years, in what sources describe as a mutual parting of ways. The departure is a change at the agency, though Shaffer’s next move and whether any clients will join him have not been announced.

Shaffer joined Innovative in May 2007 and has represented clients including Abigail Cowen, Sofia Pernas, Jennifer Esposito and Moon Bloodgood. Before that, he worked at Endeavor for more than five years; he holds a law degree from South Texas College of Law and a business degree from Southern Methodist University. Innovative has recently added Tisha Campbell to its roster, hired agents Amanda Glazer and Brian Sacripanti, and promoted Celine Biancardi to agent.
