Talking Heads Reunite for Coffee-Table Book
Developing story first seen 2 hours ago
The four members of Talking Heads have reunited to create a book about the band, marking a new collaboration among musicians who have not made music together in more than 40 years. *Talking Heads: New Feeling* is due out on 18 May, the 50th anniversary of their debut album.
The coffee-table book includes original essays by David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Jerry Harrison and Chris Frantz, as well as handwritten lyrics, album sketches and private photographs, some unseen for more than 40 years. It follows the group’s story from art school in Rhode Island to New York’s punk and new-wave scene, and through the 2023 re-release of *Stop Making Sense*, which brought the four together publicly again.
