Tame Impala & JENNIE’s ‘Dracula’ Enters the Halloween Canon With Best Streaming Day Yet
Tame Impala and JENNIE’s “Dracula” reached a new daily US streaming high on Halloween, strengthening its claim as a contemporary seasonal hit. The track drew 2.8 million official on-demand streams on 31 October and remained at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100, where it has charted throughout 2026.
The Halloween total was nearly 40% above its previous daily record of just over 2 million, set on 6 April, and 56% higher than the same date a year earlier. “Dracula” still trailed seasonal classics: “Thriller” drew 10 million streams, “Monster Mash” 7 million and “Ghostbusters” 6.6 million. Among newer spooky-themed songs, it outperformed “Disturbia”, “Bloody Mary” and “Maneater”; continued airplay could help it reach a new chart peak.
In short
- “Dracula” drew 2.8 million US streams on Halloween.
- The total set a new daily record for the song.
- It led newer spooky-themed hits but trailed seasonal classics.
Explained simply
Tame Impala is the music project of Australian musician Kevin Parker, known for psychedelic pop and rock. JENNIE is a South Korean singer and member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK; the two artists have joined forces on “Dracula”, a song with a spooky theme.
Halloween often brings a surge in listening to songs associated with ghosts, monsters and horror, from long-standing favourites to newer releases. Streaming figures and the Billboard Hot 100, which ranks popular songs in the US, help show whether a seasonal track is becoming a recurring hit.
