Jonathan Schey's feature directorial debut, *Everybody Wants to F*ck Me*, premiered at this year's Toronto International Film Festival, starring Taron Egerton as Adam, a man who fancies himself an enlightened, feminist-conscious "nice guy" in the modern dating landscape. The dark comedy veers into thriller territory when Adam's carefully constructed persona unravels after meeting Sofia (Jessica Henwick), who exposes his behaviour, leading to a reversal where he becomes the target of obsessive admirers who stalk and aggressively pursue him.

Egerton explained in an interview that he and director Schey recognised that playing Adam required nuance beyond simply portraying him as morally bankrupt. The actor described the performance as a balancing act of presenting a fundamentally flawed character whilst maintaining enough empathy for audiences to engage with him meaningfully. The cast, including Jessica Henwick and Charly Clive, discussed the inspirations behind the project and their on-set chemistry at the Collider Media Studio. The film is scheduled for release in 2027.
