Ten projects have been selected for San Sebastián Film Festival’s WIP Latam and WIP Europa competitions, which support films nearing completion and release. Six Latin American projects will compete for the WIP Latam Industry Award, while four European titles are shortlisted for WIP Europa, including work by Tatiana Huezo, Juan Sebastián Mesa, Mónica Lima and Val Jashari.

The Latam prize provides post-production support, an English-subtitled DCP and Spanish distribution, alongside a €30,000 producer award. Organisers said the selection reflects a broad mix of dramas, comedies, road films and hybrid documentaries, while noting that only 30% of submitted projects were directed by women; the showcases run from 21 to 23 September, during the 18–26 September festival.
