Taylor Sheridan's spy thriller "Lioness" is returning for its third season on Paramount+, marking the first of Sheridan's returning shows to come back this year. The prolific writer-producer, who rose to prominence with films like "Sicario" and "Hell or High Water" before creating the "Yellowstone" franchise, continues to dominate Paramount's slate even as he prepares to begin a new partnership with NBCUniversal.

Alongside "Lioness," which stars Oscar winner Zoe Saldaña, Sheridan has multiple other Paramount+ series in the pipeline. "Tulsa King" and "Mayor of Kingstown" have been renewed for fourth and fifth seasons respectively, "Landman" has been renewed for a third season, and "The Madison" secured a second-season order before its first episodes even aired. Sheridan's "Yellowstone" universe has also expanded further this year with spin-offs "Marshals" and "Dutton Ranch" both proving successful.
