Taylor Sheridan's 2021 action thriller *Without Remorse* has found renewed popularity on Prime Video in the US, five years after its underwhelming straight-to-streaming debut. The Tom Clancy adaptation, directed by Stefano Sollima and written by Sheridan, is being framed as a substitute for fans craving a *John Wick*-style action fix, and its resurgence comes as Sheridan enjoys a particularly prolific period across film and television.
Sheridan wrote *Without Remorse* alongside *Those Who Wish Me Dead* in 2021, marking the end of a screenwriting phase that began with acclaimed neo-Westerns such as *Hell or High Water* and *Wind River*. Having briefly left Prime Video last year before returning with no removal date announced, the film's revival coincides with a busy stretch for Sheridan, who is expanding his Paramount television empire with hit shows including *Dutton Ranch* and *Lioness*, reuniting with *1923* star Brandon Sklenar for the delayed action thriller *F.A.S.T.* (now due in May 2027), and writing the upcoming *Call of Duty* film for 2028, to be directed by longtime collaborator Peter Berg.
