Taylor Sheridan's oil-industry drama "Landman" has had its Season 3 production schedule pushed back, meaning fans will have to wait longer than expected for the show's return. The Paramount+ series, one of the streamer's biggest hits, was renewed for a third season in December 2025 after its second season concluded in January, and the delay marks a setback for a show whose upcoming season is expected to bring major changes to its storyline.

Cast member James Jordan, who plays petroleum engineer Dale Bradley, revealed at the "Lioness" Season 3 premiere that filming will now begin in September rather than as originally planned, running through the first quarter of next year. He also confirmed that director Stephen Kay will return for additional episodes. Season 3 is set to follow Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) after he was fired from M-Tex and launched his own company, CTT Oil Exploration and Cattle, backed by Gallino (Andy Garcia) and staffed with familiar faces including his father T.L. Norris (Sam Elliott).
