Taylor Swift Breaks Record for Most Adult Pop Airplay No. 1s With ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’
Taylor Swift has set a new record for the most number ones on Billboard’s Adult Pop Airplay chart, after “I Knew It, I Knew You” reached the top of the ranking dated 22 August. Her 16th chart leader moves her ahead of Maroon 5 and underlines her continued strength on US adult pop radio, alongside her broader commercial success.
The chart tracks weekly plays on nearly 80 US adult top 40 stations. Swift’s previous 15 leaders include “Cruel Summer”, which spent 23 weeks at number one, and “Anti-Hero”, which led for nine; “I Knew It, I Knew You”, from Pixar’s Toy Story 5 and inspired by Jessie, previously became her 15th US Hot 100 number one in June.
