Ted McGinley will narrate *Kings of the Beach*, a documentary tracing beach volleyball’s rise and decline. His ties to Newport Beach and the sport’s heyday make him a fitting guide to a story about how the game became popular and why it later struggled.

The film spans the early 1980s through the following decade, drawing on archival footage, photographs and accounts from players including Sinjin Smith, Karch Kiraly, Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings.
