A teenager was discovered bleeding to death on the pavement outside a Melbourne hospital late Wednesday evening. Despite immediate resuscitation efforts by paramedics and medical staff, the 15-year-old boy succumbed to his injuries at the scene, with a large hunting knife recovered nearby.

Homicide investigators are now examining whether the fatal wounds were inflicted at the hospital location or elsewhere before the victim was brought there. Police have arrested a 16-year-old and a 20-year-old in connection with the incident as they work to establish the full circumstances of the death.
