‘Tender Loving Care’ Trailer: Mike Leigh’s Latest Is A Meditation On Love & Growing Old

The first trailer has been released for Mike Leigh’s *Tender Loving Care*, a drama about care, love and ageing. Its story follows Amy, who moves in with her best friend after a breakup, as their work and family lives bring them into contact with people at different stages of life.

Kate O’Flynn plays Amy and Alice Bailey Johnson plays Rosie, her friend and colleague in London social care. Amy works with young people, while Rosie grows close to Amy’s elderly parents, particularly her ageing father. The film won the Golden Shell and Best Screenplay awards at the San Sebastián Film Festival, and is due to open in cinemas in Los Angeles and New York on 11 December.
