Similar increases have been seen in Dallas and Houston, where roughly 30 unsupervised Teslas operated in the past week. Tesla, which does not publish fleet data and did not respond to requests for comment, may also be holding back on adding more Model Ys to the fleet as it prepares to scale up Cybercab, according to a JPMorgan note, though the company remains well behind rival Waymo in the robotaxi race.
