Nintendo has launched a new limited-time crossover event in Tetris 99, marking the recent release of Splatoon Raiders on Switch 2. The event ties into the wider Splatoon Raiders launch, which Nintendo Life's own review praised as the "best single-player Splatoon" title thanks to its polish, affordability and robust co-op multiplayer options.

Players who log into Tetris 99 between 7th and 10th August 2026 can earn event points, and reaching 100 points unlocks a special theme featuring artwork, music and Tetrimino designs inspired by Splatoon Raiders, following the game's usual event structure. Separately, Tetris 99 is also currently running a discount on 41 collaborative themes, available until 17th August 2026.
