Teyana Taylor Thanks Jay-Z After Performing Together at ‘Iconic’ Yankee Stadium Finale
Teyana Taylor has publicly thanked Jay-Z after joining him on stage for the final night of his three-day Yankee Stadium residency, calling the experience "iconic." The R&B singer performed Mary J. Blige's part on "Can't Knock the Hustle," from Jay-Z's 1996 debut album Reasonable Doubt, during the closing "Extra Innings" show, which capped a run of anniversary concerts celebrating his career.
In an Instagram post reflecting on the night, Taylor said gratitude outweighed any sound issues on stage, describing standing beside Jay-Z in front of more than 40,000 fans as a moment she "would've never believed." The residency, held over 10, 11 and 12 July 2026, marked 30 years since Reasonable Doubt and 25 years since The Blueprint, and featured a string of high-profile guests including Beyoncé, Rihanna, Usher, Eminem, Nas, Alicia Keys and Pharrell Williams across the three nights.
