The 50 Best Restaurants 2026: Singapore’s Odette is No 15; its head sommelier Lesley Liu wins Best Sommelier

Basque grill restaurant Asador Etxebarri was named the world’s best restaurant for 2026 at an awards ceremony in Lima. Singapore’s Odette rose 10 places to No 15, while its head sommelier, Lesley Liu, received the Best Sommelier award.

Bangkok’s Gaggan was No 2 and Copenhagen’s Alchemist No 3. The list spans 28 territories across six continents, includes 11 new entries and features 14 restaurants from Asia; Singapore’s Seroja, Burnt Ends and Restaurant Labyrinth also placed in the extended 51-100 ranking.
