The Alan Parson’s Project’s Tales Of Mystery & Imagination debut album to get 50th anniversary reissue
The Alan Parsons Project’s 1976 debut, *Tales Of Mystery And Imagination Edgar Allan Poe*, will be reissued to mark its 50th anniversary. The releases bring together original and remixed versions of the album, alongside previously unreleased material and new audio formats.
The editions include a three-LP set limited to 1,976 numbered copies, a three-CD set, a limited picture disc and a Blu-ray. The CD set has 34 bonus tracks, including 12 previously unreleased; the Blu-ray features a new 2026 Dolby Atmos mix, Alan Parsons’s 2016 surround mix and remastered album versions. The vinyl and CD editions include a book with lyrics and commentary.
