Screamer, an anime-inspired arcade racing game, may be heading to Nintendo Switch 2 after a Nintendo version received a rating from Germany’s USK classification board. The rating is not a formal announcement, but suggests that a Switch 2 release could be planned for the rebooted racing series.

The new Screamer launched on other platforms earlier in 2026 and combines high-speed racing, combat and a story set in a dystopian world. It revives a series first released in 1995, with original developer Milestone involved again; the PlayStation 5 version received an 8/10 review from Push Square.
