The move highlights the growing role of prediction markets as a complement to traditional opinion polling, giving campaigns, journalists and voters a continuously updated gauge of how races are shifting as events unfold.

Unlike conventional polls, which capture a snapshot of voter sentiment at a single point in time, Kalshi's markets update in real time as traders respond to debates, fundraising announcements, endorsements and breaking news. The hub was announced by Kalshi co-founder Luana Lopes Lara, whose company has been highlighted as a fast-growing prediction market business, as prediction markets increasingly position themselves as an influential tool for forecasting the outcome of the fight for the House and Senate.
