The Beach Boys have postponed their remaining summer tour dates to allow Mike Love to rest and “recharge”, with the band due to resume performing in late September. The decision matters because Love, aged 85, is the only original member still touring with the group and has recently faced reported health and vocal difficulties.

Tickets for shows postponed between 23 July and 3 September will remain valid for their rescheduled dates. The band had previously cancelled several performances after Love became ill, returned to touring on 14 June, and is now scheduled to restart on 24 September in West Springfield, Massachusetts, followed by dates including Cincinnati, Nashville, Calgary and Orlando.
