Polygon has compiled a list of recommended mods for the survival-crafting game Palworld, aimed at players on PC who want to smooth out grinding or add quality-of-life improvements. The mods, sourced mainly from Nexus Mods, cover a range of tweaks from levelling up faster to unlocking the map and easing base-building restrictions, and most work by editing the game's Engine.ini file for either the Steam or Game Pass version.

Highlights include "More Status and Tech Points", which boosts skill point gains up to eightfold, and "MapUnlocker", which reveals the full map from the start. A "Creative Menu" mod turns the game into a sandbox where players can spawn Pals and items freely, while others such as "Less Restrictive Building", enlarged base construction areas, expanded storage, "Infinite Weight In Camp" and a portable crude oil extractor address specific building and resource-management annoyances. The guide notes that console players cannot install mods but can achieve similar effects by adjusting in-game world settings such as catch rate and experience gains.
