Portland experimental heavy-music duo the Body have announced a collaborative album with Oakland abrasive electronic group Cel Genesis, titled Whole Wide World. The project emerged from the groups touring together and continues the Body’s recent run of collaborative releases, blending heavy music with electronic experimentation.

The lead single, “Candy Crush”, runs for six minutes and begins with shrieking vocals and ominous drones before shifting into a forceful rave beat. Whole Wide World contains eight tracks, including “Ghost”, “Negative Sum” and “To Be Eviscerated”, and will be released by Thrill Jockey on 13 November.
