Prime Video has released the first trailer for Season 6 of "The Chosen," depicting the final hours of Jesus of Nazareth's life leading up to his crucifixion. The historical drama, produced by 5&2 Studios, is now in its penultimate season and has built a following for its intimate portrayal of Jesus and his followers against the backdrop of Roman-occupied first-century Israel, making this instalment a pivotal chapter as it depicts the pivotal biblical event that shaped the show's narrative.

The season will launch on Prime Video with three episodes on 15 November, followed by weekly single-episode releases through to 6 December, with the season finale released theatrically in spring 2027 alongside the Season 7 premiere. Jonathan Roumie returns as Jesus, joined by a cast including Shahar Isaac, Paras Patel, Elizabeth Tabish and Luke Dimyan as Judas, with the series also set to stream in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Sub-Saharan Africa, the UK and Latin America.
