The venue was the main sticking point: Netflix reportedly favoured New York, while Joshua insisted on fighting in Britain and allegedly rejected more money to do so. Saudi powerbroker Turki Alalshikh announced the bout, with UFC chief Dana White involved in securing the Netflix deal, while promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren disputed who deserved credit; the WBA Super heavyweight title is expected to be at stake.
