Country singer Megan Moroney cut short her concert at Denver's Ball Arena on 28 July after just three songs, telling fans in an emotional Instagram Stories post that halting the show was "the hardest decision I've ever had to make." She explained she knew by the third song that she could not deliver a performance to her usual standard, saying she was in tears in her dressing room afterwards, and Ball Arena confirmed the cancellation was due to illness. The stop was part of her Cloud 9 Tour, in support of her chart-topping third album, and disrupted one date in an otherwise packed touring schedule.

Moroney performed "Stupid", "Medicine" and "Bless Your Heart" before leaving the stage. A replacement Denver date has been set for 27 August, with all original tickets honoured and refunds offered to those unable to attend. Her Cloud 9 Tour, her biggest to date, began in May in Columbus, Ohio, and runs through more than 40 US dates, including Portland on 1 August, Nashville and New York, before crossing to Europe and the UK for shows in Paris, London, Oslo and Stockholm, concluding 1 October in Belfast.
