THE HAUNTED’s MARCO ARO: ‘We’ve Never, Ever Had An Argument In The Band Where We Shouted At Each Other’

Blabbermouth · 2 months ago

Marco Aro says rejoining Swedish thrash metal band The Haunted in 2013 felt like “coming home”, despite initially declining guitarist Patrik Jensen’s approach. He attributes the group’s longevity and continued stability to close friendships, giving one another space, and avoiding heated arguments, which he says has helped preserve their relationship.

Aro said most of the band’s core line-up remains intact, with guitarist Ola Englund the only member without an earlier spell in the group. The Haunted’s latest album, *Songs of Last Resort*, follows an eight-year effort disrupted by Covid; its music was recorded at Studio Bohus, vocals at The Cellar Studio, and it was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren.
