The Heavy North Open A New Chapter With Latest Single, ‘Alive’

Liverpool blues-rock band The Heavy North have released ‘Alive’, a new single that marks the start of a new chapter as they prepare their third album. The track pairs nostalgic blues-rock with raw vocals and autumnal acoustic sounds, exploring love, infatuation and the uncertainty of whether affection is returned.

The forthcoming album has been years in the making, with songs developed between Granada and the band’s hometown of Liverpool. The band describe ‘Alive’ as a love song about the powerful closeness of an infatuation, while its Luca Crispin-filmed video pays tribute to the city that raised them.
