A deluxe hardbound omnibus combining Homer's "The Iliad" and "The Odyssey" has been released to coincide with Christopher Nolan's forthcoming film adaptation of "The Odyssey", which is due in cinemas this month. The single-volume edition has become a No. 1 bestseller on Amazon, positioned as a way for readers and prospective moviegoers to revisit the source material before the film arrives.

The 768-page English-language volume pairs "The Iliad", Homer's account of the Trojan War, with "The Odyssey", which follows Odysseus on his perilous journey home to Ithaca. It is currently discounted to $19.16 from $24.99, a 23% reduction. Nolan's adaptation features a star-studded cast including Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Tom Holland and Charlize Theron, who gathered in London earlier this week for the global premiere. Damon told Variety the shoot "felt like six or seven movies in one", with each location posing a different challenge.
