The Interrupters Announce New Album ‘Battle Scars’
The Interrupters have announced ‘Battle Scars’, their first album since 2022’s ‘In the Wild’, due for release on 29 January through Hellcat Records. The band say the record brings together a range of collaborators, while its newly released song ‘Back From The Dead’ offers a personal account of vocalist Aimee Interrupter’s recovery from a near-death experience.
The 11-track album includes contributions from Travis Barker, Tim Armstrong, Vic Ruggiero and Jesse Michaels. Armstrong, Brett Gurewitz, Michaels and Barker also worked with the band as co-producers, songwriters and guests. Aimee described ‘Back From The Dead’ as a reawakening and a letter to alcohol, which she said had tried to kill and hold her down.
