The Kinks’ Ray and Dave Davies are “getting on great” and would “never say never” to a reunion
Ray and Dave Davies of The Kinks say their relationship has improved significantly and have not ruled out performing together again. Their renewed closeness has raised the possibility of a reunion, although neither brother has confirmed plans for one.
The comments came before the opening of *The Kinks: Brothers*, a London exhibition running from 24 July to 6 September, featuring works inspired by a 1968 photograph of the brothers. Dave said the artwork made him reflect on their turbulent history, while Ray has previously said there are enough unfinished recordings for about 20 potential new Kinks songs; the pair last performed together in 2015.
