Paramount is marking the 15th anniversary of "The Legend of Korra" with an official live concert tour, offering fans a rare bright spot amid a bumpy year for the wider Avatar franchise. The move follows a mixed run for other new releases: Netflix's live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender Season 2 lost over half its Season 1 viewership, while the animated film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender had its release moved up to 25 July after leaking online.

The Legend of Korra tour, run in partnership with GEA Live and Senbla, will begin in January across two legs covering 20 cities in America and 10 in Europe. Billed as a "live-to-picture orchestral experience," it will pair a live orchestra performing Jeremy Zuckerman's score with high-definition projections of key scenes from all three seasons of the show, alongside exclusive new merchandise at each stop.
