The Legend of Zelda Toys on the Way from Hasbro as Live-Action Movie Looms
Nintendo and Hasbro have announced a multi-year toy partnership tied to The Legend of Zelda franchise, with the range set to launch in 2027 alongside the live-action film adaptation. No specific characters or locations have been confirmed yet, but the collaboration will kick off with three six-inch scale figures due to be revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2026.
The live-action film, directed by Wes Ball and starring Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link and Bo Bragason as Zelda, is scheduled for release on 30 April 2027. Filming took place in New Zealand between November 2025 and April 2026, with set photos suggesting Severance actress Dichen Lachman plays a third character believed to be Impa. The toy reveal arrives as the franchise marks its 40th anniversary and ahead of an Ocarina of Time remake later this year, though it remains unclear which era of the Zelda universe the figures will represent.
