Preorders have opened for the 4K UHD and Blu-ray home releases of "The Mandalorian and Grogu", the latest Star Wars film, with a standard edition, a 4K steelbook and a premium "Beskar Collector's Edition" all available to buy ahead of stores. All versions are due for release on 25 August 2026, giving fans of Din Djarin and Grogu's cinema outing a chance to secure copies before the steelbook editions, which tend to sell out quickly, run out.

The Beskar Collector's Edition is priced at $219.99 and includes the film on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and digital, along with a steelbook, two metal posters and special packaging. A standalone 4K steelbook is available for $44.99, while standard 4K and Blu-ray editions start from around $24.96 to $49.99 depending on retailer, with Amazon and Walmart both listed as sellers. The physical releases also come with bonus features, including behind-the-scenes featurettes on the film's world-building and creature effects, plus an audio commentary from director Jon Favreau.
